Set on the northern edge of our working farm, the cabins are nestled amongst centuries-old oak trees and undulating terrain, surrounded by open sheep-grazing pasture where curious sheep are often your nearest neighbours. Life on the farm carries on around you — you may well see a ewe giving birth during lambing season.

Just a three-minute drive from the coast and eight minutes from the artists’ town of Kirkcudbright, Wild Galloway combines peaceful countryside seclusion with easy access to beaches, galleries, independent cafés and some of southwest Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes.

Cabin FAQ’s

  • Minimum stays are typically two nights, although busier periods such as bank holidays and peak seasonal dates may require a longer stay.

  • Check in is from 4pm onwards and checkout is before 10am. However you can request an early check in from 1pm and late check out at 12pm. This is subject to availability and can be confirmed when you make your reservation.

  • Standard occupancy is 2 people in our king size suites. Each cabin has a fold out sofa bed in the living room that can be made into a single bed allowing for a third guest. You will be asked to confirm total guest numbers during the booking process.

  • The 2 cabins are about 100m apart from each other. Nestled amongst mature oak trees, the cabins are thoughtfully positioned within the natural contours of the undulating landscape to create a stronger sense of privacy and separation.

  • There is a small communal car park a short walking distance from both cabins. It is not possible to drive directly up to each cabin.

  • Yes, dogs are allowed at the cabins. A single £50 dog fee applies per stay and covers up to 2 dogs per cabin. We supply a comfy dog bed, water bowl, and micro fibre towel per dog.

  • Bookings can be secured with a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.

  • Cinema Mode transforms the cabin bedroom into a slower, more atmospheric evening setting at the touch of a button. A hidden projector screen descends to create a cosy private viewing experience designed for quiet nights in beneath the dark skies of Galloway.
